REVIEW: 

A beautiful movie just as good as the book

I went to the theater not expecting much, having previously read the book, I doubted the movie would be as good. I was wrong. Everything everything is a beautiful movie for everyone. Seriously, just go watch the movie.

If you need more convincing, let me break it down for you. It's a diverse movie without the main topic being race. Amandla Stenberg and Nick Robinson both to beautiful acting jobs, bringing their characters, Maddy and Olly, to life. Both characters are interesting, deep, and most importantly, alive.

I'll probably use the word beautiful to describe this movie way too much, but that's because it really is a beautiful movie. The visuals are gorgeous, every shot is artistic. It's also a very aesthetic movie to watch. I also really enjoyed the music played throughout the film and during the credits. It was a beautiful story with depth.

In conclusion, just go watch the movie.

Terrible Movie, Terrible Script, Good Actors/Acting, Decent Visuals.

This movie was a HUGE disappointment. The 1st Ship Error I Kan understand.. but everything after it just pure idiocy.. from shooting a weapon inside a ship at random (at O2 Tanks). To everybody just "wondering off" alone on an unknown planet.. with NO EV Suits. Forget the whole Alien aspect.. the number of Viral or Bacteria in an unknown location is MASSIVE. And they are que'd as "Trained Staff to handle Planet Colony Deployment & Security"

Even on Earth.. you have to get a number of Shots to fight off Viral Infection in that area not native to your place of birth.. let alone bug bits that have been known to kill a person due to reaction. Great movies, even SciFi have a Human aspect that grips us.. the more sensibility it breaks the more disconnect there is with their viewers, unless the viewer is a special ed student.

This movie is pee(but with the SS). Then for some "logical" reason.. some Cowboy decides to take a ship full of valuable human lives to this unknown planet.. in a fudging storm. I dam near vomited. No off Earth trip to move this number of people would have a staff of people so poorly trained.

Then they sum it up w/ a Robot that wants to kill all humans. The writers should be shot. Thats the cliché of the whole movie. At no point does this movie surprise.. from the post-intro you pretty much know the whole move/end.

REVIEW: 

Great Start to the Dark Universe

The Mummy was a lot better than I was expecting. It was about WHAT I was expecting, which is good, and didn't really feel like it was doing nothing but universe-building. There was a bit of that, but they did focus mostly on the Mummy, Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) and Jenny Halsey (Annabelle Wallis).

This was your basic Mummy story, though they gave enough of a different background to Ahmanet to at least PARTIALLY distinguish her from previous Mummies. She was going to become the most powerful princess in the world until her father knocked up his new wife who bore him a son. Ahmanet was not going to have any of that, so she killed everyone. She sold her soul to Set, who promised to make her a Queen in exchange for giving him a physical form. Her father's soldiers capture her and mummify her alive.

Skip to present day where Nick Morton is looking to make some money by breaking into a tomb on a map he stole from Jenny. She catches up to him just after he finds the tomb, and they explore it together. They find Ahmanet's tomb and accidentally revive her. Ahmanet decides Nick will be her new Chosen One--the new body for Set--and that brings Nick to the attention of Prodigium, a group dedicated to studying and destroying monsters.

The cast of the Mummy was very good. Tom Cruise was still Tom Cruise, but as he manages to do in all his movies, he manages to sell it very well. Annabelle Wallis played a decent Jenny Halsey, and while I think she COULD have been a little bit stronger in her role, she was not a weak, wilting wallflower. She kicked as much butt as Tom Cruise did. But the real joy of this movie was Sofia Boutella as Ahmanet, a role she almost seemed born to play. She played sexy well, and she played psychotic well, and the people in charge of makeup turned her into a really excellent Mummy.

The Mummy was also a beautiful movie. They did not overdo the cinematography, keeping it very grounded, but they didn't make anything unnecessarily dark just because. The special effects were great, and they did not do anything unnecessary. probably the biggest CGI scene was a scene in London that lasted maybe five minutes. And there was NO CGI-heavy ending fight like has been happening in movies a lot lately. They seemed to try to keep CGI out as much as they could, which was very refreshing. They still used it, don't get me wrong, but it didn't seem to be EVERYWHERE. The movie moved along at a brisk pace, didn't drag anywhere, and the sets and costumes were fabulous.

I was very happy with the Mummy. I didn't expect a lot, so I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. Not everyone is going to like it, though, but I'm a big Universal Monster fan, and I can't wait to see what they do with their upcoming movies. I just hope there are upcoming movies considering the bad reviews this movie is getting, which it really does not deserve.

It's very entertaining, very funny and visually impressive, but not much beyond that !

Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Men Tell No Tales is a fifth movie in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean series with Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush returning, but also some new stars Brenton Thwaites (The Giver, Maleficent) and Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner) and the great Javier Bardem as a lead villain Salazar.

Just like every Pirates of the Caribbean movie, it's a good time guaranteed once again. It's a visual spectacle and it's full of witty dialogues and fun action sequences. The actors are clearly having a great time in their roles and it's a joy to watch them (even though Jack Sparrow is turning into a parody of himself), but all that put together didn't make for a memorable enough experience. It was fun, but not captivating enough. It's not one of those movies you will remember much when you get out of the theater. It's a good time while it lasts, but it won't stick with you. At least it wasn't as uninteresting as On Stranger Tides. And by the way, don't get too hyped up about that Paul McCartney role. He's in the movie for less than a minute and feels awfully shoehorned in. But maybe he will have a bigger role in the future. Still, I don't think he was necessary here, as much as I appreciate him.

Yes, you will have fun, but you will forget about it eventually. It's still not as good as the first three movies in the series.

Action, drama, comedy and might even be better then the first one!

As a huge fan of the first film, I went to watch the movie as soon as it came out. And I have to say I wasn't disappointed at all.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 Offers so much thrills and an awesome cinematic experience, The action starts right from the opening scene and it doesn't end until the last 2 seconds of the film. The people behind the movie just knew how to not make the audience bored, and they succeeded at that.

I have to say that 3D ticket here is worth the additional price, because honestly, if any movie deserved to be really watched in 3D it's this one,It adds so much depth to the scenes and makes the movie alive.

The plot is interesting enough to keep you engaged and the pacing never really drags even with the movie's long duration.

The soundtrack just fits right into its place and it really helped the background quality, providing the best classic songs. The movie is also really humorous and I found it as funny as the first.

Due to the movie's high budget, the scenery is Amazing! The movie feels like a very entertaining roller coaster, it was a joy and all the crowd were very pleased.

In the end, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 Is a MUST-SEE for fans of the first one and a VERY ENJOYABLE ride for everyone else. It's simply one of these movies that are always fun to watch.

The first epic movie!!!! Lives up to that subtitle.

The animation turned out to be really cool. I like how they went back and forth form the 3D animation to the 2D animation. They even had some sock puppetry. The blend shows the creativity of the child's mind, greatly.

Pretty funny and pretty imaginative, I must say.

Kevin Hart has the perfect voice for cartoons especially to play little boys.

He plays a kid named George who with his best friend Harold create a comic book called Captain underpants, and when their principal threatens to end their collaboration and with it the future of their friendship by separating them due to all their pranking, so they hypnotizing him into believing he's the character they created.

It's a very wonderful exciting movie to watch. Very funny with great animation.
